My skype is messed up

For about a week or two whenever I open my skype my windows freezes, such as my, taskbar,desktop,startmenu.
It's only when i'm logged in, when i'm at the log in screen it's unfrozen.

Help please! : (

Thats really weird. Try to re download skype.

I've reinstalled it about 3 times. Doesn't do anything

Do you have your Skype to open on start up? or does the same thing happen every time you start Skype up manually? How much RAM does your system have and OS do you have and what bit is it? When you have reinstalled Skype have you done a complete re installed getting rid of all the files associated with Skype? Might just be a simple problem of your start up. You can test and improve this by using a tool called Soluto.

I had skype on my computer for over 2-3 years w/ no problems.
