So I recently went through this, and let me tell you it was not pleasant - Australian here.

I purchased a $5k macbook, after a month of the account being open and over a dozen orders, and they closed my account - linked my details to another acount (beginner mistake I know). Fine, I will just return the macbook for a refund... Almost 2 months later they confirmed that they are processing a refund for the macbook that I legitimately returned at the start of January. The refund should come through in 2 weeks.

TL;DR: you can still obtain a refund if you legitimately return the item you ordered, but it is going to take alot of time, and countless follow ups. Good luck.
