RE: My Logitech SE Method #11
Did this earlier using the OP's recommendations and it's piss easy on live chat. I should have a new mouse being delivered to me, once they send me the shipping details.

It's a shame I don't like Logitech stuff. But I'll be doing this a few time for beer tokens Wink

The outcome Is quite clear:

Was the request to provide some form of proof, or simply the name of the retailer?

Looks like Logitech have fixed their easy to SE replacement service.

Basically, the email tells you that you must go to your point of purchase and ask if they'll replace it, if not, you'll have to provide the following details.

Quote:If you have problems with getting a replacement from the point of purchase, please reply with the following details so that we can extend our support:
-Name of the retailer
-Reason for not being able to get a replacement from the retailer
-A copy of the receipt (If available)
-An image of the faulty product showing the S/N (Serial Number) or PID with a hand written note of your case number
-Your Complete name, phone number and shipping address (If you have not yet provided it)

Now, that's all well and good apart from the 'faulty product showing the S/N and a hand written note of your case number'. Something nobody will be able to get unless you've managed to get your hand on a Logitech device (friends house? lol).

So, it looks like somebody will have to SE a way to avoid having to send an image + hand written note of a case number to 'Kim'.

I've tried again. Hoping not to get Kim.... But surely you'd think that if one representative acts this way, they'd make it company procedure?

I have a heap of Logitech serials and upon SEing them for testing purposes, Logitech can be quite vulnerable.

Would you happen to have any g pro wireless s/n's? Or 502
