Mounting an android device under Linux #1
Hello HC I'm having a little trouble mounting an android device under Linux, the OS detects the device which can be seen from running
Code:
tail -f /var/log/messages Aug 31 21:43:37 localhost kernel: [ 2344.556173] usb 1-1.2: new high-speed USB device number 6 using ehci-pci Aug 31 21:43:37 localhost kernel: [ 2344.642871] usb 1-1.2: New USB device found, idVendor=04e8, idProduct=6860 Aug 31 21:43:37 localhost kernel: [ 2344.642885] usb 1-1.2: New USB device strings: Mfr=2, Product=3, SerialNumber=4 Aug 31 21:43:37 localhost kernel: [ 2344.642888] usb 1-1.2: Product: SAMSUNG_Android Aug 31 21:43:37 localhost kernel: [ 2344.642890] usb 1-1.2: Manufacturer: SAMSUNG Aug 31 21:43:37 localhost kernel: [ 2344.642892] usb 1-1.2: SerialNumber: -snip-

But does not register as a drive I have tried creating a udev rule for it as shown *HERE* and waited patiently for a good 10 minutes with no luck. Has anyone had similar issues and been able to resolve them?
