For Android there's all kinda shit, iOS is harder.

You won't find (m)any public things for iOS, you can talk to @pvnk , but I don't know anything about whatever he does.

For android, there's DroidJack, AndroRAT, Dendroid, etc.

A remote administration tool is simply a tool that allows remote access. On iOS there are variants of not only remote administration tools, but spyware that can be hard installed into the phone's firmware. #themoreyouknow

There is a really nice python based multiplatform RAT that also supports android, and few people know about.

It's called 'pupy'. You should look it up on google.

The beauty in pupy is  that it's completely open source and you could even compile your own APK, for example supporting launch at BOOT, or hidden icon etc
