Me personally I wouldn’t even turn it on for a couple weeks after the refund, I still believe they keep watch and check to see if it’s active for a a while, it’s annoying waiting but 30 days would 100% be okay in my personal opinion.

As far as I'm aware it's not been reported to date.

I saw a thread a while back where a user supposedly identified Meta's refund criteria due to a Meta rep mistakenly sending a link via email, it was an interesting read.

One of these criteria was whether the device had been activated or not prior to escalating the claim to "level 2" for a refund.

Its safe to say these should not be activated prior to receiving the refund in full, however I'm yet to hear of a headset being blacklisted as a whole.

If you're not in a rush I'd say 2-3 weeks just to be on the safe side

Me who sold it before the refund even finalized . Sometimes you gotta test how big your balls are.
