For those who have done EB with a Quest 2, did they send you an e-mail to say they will investigate with the carrier ?
I just received this from them :

It makes little sense that they are saying they will investigate to locate the shipment as I claimed EB and not DNA, hence never said the shipment was lost,

how long ago did you message them to claim EB

I did it today and received it like an hour after.
I did send pictures of the empty package by chat message so don't understand why they are talking about locating it.

It might be an automated e-mail but I doubt it as it didn't arrive immediatly after the chat

Was it supposed to be an instant refund?

I'm in France (but doing the SE in english bc they don't do chat in french)

No I wasn't expecting an instant refund. The success stories on EBing a Quest 2 here says it takes about a week, but I'm doing this thread bc i never saw anyone mention that they received this kind of e-mail.

I just hope I didn't got a dumb rep who interpreted my EB claim as a DNA.

Hm, just thought i might have misunderstood the e-mail and they are talking about locating the actual Quest 2 box that "wasn't" inside the box I received

Your claim is fine. I’ve received that email before and it’s just a scare tactic. On around day 3 you’ll probably receive another email saying their still investigating blah blah - then at the end it’ll say something along the lines of “if you happen to find the headset we’ll call off the investigation”. To my knowledge they never actually investigate and really they just use scare tactics to try and get the buyer to confess. If you stick with your story the whole way through on day 10 you should have your money back.

Allow them to continue their Investigation on false grounds - It may well be approved.

If not, then bring the EB to their attention.

Could have been at that time but it doesn't work like this anymore with EB
