Thinking of SEing an xbox series x or ps5 with the sealed box method, other than trying Amazon and hoping they don’t check it before they refunded the money, I was thinking at Mediamarket online (here in Italy Mediaworld, Mediamarkt in Germany). I read in their policies that they send you the courier to you to collect the return, and refund after the courier take the box, in any case within a maximum of 5 days. If you want to use a courier of your choice at your expense, they refund after they received the box or when you send them the proof of shipping. So it sounds like they refund you without checking, or anyway before checking.
They could have different rules in Germany\Italy.
Anyone have experience with this?

Try to do ia legit return and see how it goes, if you get the money straight after the courier collects the console than it means you can SE them next time

MediaMarkt definitely check sealed box returns In-store, but I haven't received reports of It happening online.

Super! I wouldn’t ever have the courage of trying in-store.😂
And from what I read in their terms, looks clear that they refund when the courier scan the return box, so they look like the perfect candidates.
Xbox has rectangular clear seals with a little arrow printed on it, so being this seals “custom” I hope i can re-glue them well, if not, I ordered rectangular clear seals from aliexpress, hoping the warehouseman will not notice the difference. Ps5 has classic round seals so it’s more easy.
I will probably try and update.

Try and reseal It to perfection - the success rate purely depends on It.

So, while i’m doing a legit return (printer cartridge) with Mediamarket to see how fast they refund, i ordered an Xbox series X on Amazon prime. Fresh account with 3 small legit purchases, i hope they check the return AFTER they refunded me on the prepaid card, like they did with a 240€ shaver. I reselaed it today and will return in the next days. The orginal seals resealed pretty well. After replacing the weight and resealed there is a variance of +75 grams on 6 kilos. Will this be a problem? The amazon box + packing paper weights another 500gr, so i can take out 75gr of packing paper, so the shipping weight will be 6.4kg as was on the label instead of becoming 6.5kg.
Beacause i don’t want to unseal all again and play again with the scale after 3 hours of work 😂

I think you should try to reseal the amazon box too, as if nothing was touched at all; I am sure @mothered will be able to tell you more, but this should be the way

I just cutted the amazon tape (that’s very hard to unseal), with my others SE cutting and resealing was not a problem for the refund. I will also retape the bottom with diffrerent colored tape just to add a bit of confusion😄
