MMORPGs - Worth paying for? #1
I usually end up playing the free to play anime style RPGs but recently Oni got me into Guild Wars 2. Holy crap I love it. I've never played any other paid RPGs, could anyone tell me which ones they'd recommend from persona experience?

-Elder Scrolls Online just dropped its first DLC, been playing for a few months once it went for its new payment model. Leveling takes a lot of time, but it's fun. The dungeons in this game are pretty generic, but the PvP is where it's at imo. If you buy this let me know and I'd love to play with you, just starting to get back into it after taking a month break from it.

-I played World of Warcraft for years and that was tons of fun. Played recently when Warlords of Draenor dropped and that was fun, but I wasn't hardcore into it like I used to be so I stopped playing.

-I'm looking forward to Black Desert Online, but that isn't out yet, and you have to use a Korean VPN to play in their Beta events.

I refuse to play F2P MMOs anymore simply because the quality between a paid MMO and a free one are just too clear. Most F2P have terrible quality and it is completely P2W, which I don't enjoy playing.

I tinkered in EVE: Online for a little bit, and holy fuck it blew my mind. I personally don't think it'd be your thing, but you could check it out.

- Sword Art Online: Lost Song was just released (I think that's the name). I didn't get that good of a handle on it, but I got to play the demo at Fan Expo yesterday

- Aura Kingdom is free on steam, with a bunch of ingame stuff to buy (ton of fun, played with @Master for a bit)

- Adventure Quest: Worlds is possibly the most ridiculous MMO ever, which is free to play with paid membership.

OT: how's GW2? I'm considering getting it, but I want some reinforcement on it before I waste 300+ hours
It's often the outcasts, the iconoclasts ... those who have the least to lose because they
don't have much in the first place, who feel the new currents and ride them the farthest.

I'd be down with paying for an MMORPG. Just not on a monthly basis. It makes me feel like I should only play that game since I'm paying for my hours off the game as well.

WoW has always made me curious but the hype has put me off a bit xD Elder Scrolls is something I was thinking about at some point.

I've seen Oni play it but I've never had a go. Does look interesting...

MMORPGs are a dying breed.

I've got more hours logged on RS than my entire steam library combined.

I tried Mabinogi only to have half my bank be locked up on me after reaching level like, 30? Dumb.

I refuse to play P2P MMORPGs simply due to the fact that I've been too spoiled by them.

EVE seems like a total joke to me considering you can just bot your membership. I know a guy who all he did was bot and transfer to his main to only build his ship up. He never even PVP'd.

My room mate plays ESO. Seems enjoyable and honestly like a really good version of Runescape. Might play it sometime.

Need for speed world is dead and you can thank one of my friends for that.

The only mmorpg i ever hit level cap with is Archeage. I had a blast playing it. The best part about it was the open world pvp on the land as well as in the sea with ship battles. It also has player housing and cool clan castes which you can defend your and siege others.
