I lost my phone yesterday . But I have the IMEI number and by google dashboard i can see when i last updated . Is there any tools by which i can track down the phone using its IMEI ?

Ok, if you want to do it legally go to your telephone provider and tell them that you lost your phone, they should track it down for you.
If you don;t care about legal, hack a phone tower to ask other towers where your phone is.
