Most professional logo designers are strongly against linking the name, or what the company does, with the logo in this way. The logo does not represent what you do or your name, it's just like a person's name. It doesn't tell you much about them, but it represents them.
I'm not sure where you've been doing your research, but professional logo designers that do work for logos that actually mean something. You know like Fedex, Amazon, Tostitos, vaio, Toyota.. not to mention all the rest. All of these companies logos have something that has a relevant touch to what the company is about.
