Let me know if you know a genius. Difficult problem #1
So let's say you have a simulation of particles. Just 2 types. Red particles and blue particles.
Red particles form close range bonds with other red particles and they tend to lock in their orientation very rigidly when they bond with another particle.
Blue particles form close range bonds with other their own kind too, they however don't lock in their orientation at all.
When watching the simulation you see red particles form solid clumps and you see blue particles behave like a fluid. And sometimes the particles splash or break and mix a little.

How can you simplify this simulation so that you aren't running a process for every single particle?
How can you segregate blue particle bodies from red particle bodies? How can you look at any given volume of a predictable system? I did just come up with a nice little idea, make definitions around stat analysis on particles within similar conditions; woah, am I the genius? Anyway.
Jesus.
Holy fuck
I think I just solved it. I can let you know in a year.

I can confirm this works.
