Lenovo Premium Care Support Laptop SE

Hey Guys i got a Lenovo Laptop Serial number, but this Laptop has Premium Care Support. Is there a possible way to SE this type? If yes please share ur experience with me

I had a premium care SN Lenovo for a high-end laptop. I boxed them after they wanted me to send it in for repairs. After they investigated with the carrier when they could not find the laptop so they sent me a new one. First they wanted a receipt but I told them I got at my job and I did not have a receipt. Took about three months and loads of e-mails.

Tried the same method this year and gave them all the info they asked for, receipts, pics and so on. The SE failed when they checked the receipt and noticed it was a fake I guess. It was a very real looking scanned paper receipt from a closed down non existing computer shop in the US done by a very professional photoshopper.

I guess you can still SE them using the serial number method if you know how.

Precisely- there is always a way around it.
Regarding them noticing the receipt was fake- it would be interesting to see if a better method would be claiming you have no proof-of-purchase, and claiming you have asked the company you bought it from for some proof. Then if the company thinks the POP you have provided is suspicious, you can claim that it was generated unconventionally by the company at a later date.

Yea right, the pops always get checked. I managed to pass 1 through by saying it was a gift. Not sure how, they changed the device location from european to uk one. So somehow they must have made a proof of purchase or something of their own and forwarded to carrier. Its possible, but now they are so strict.

Lenovo are pretty strict with their policies and for the most part, they cross-check POPs.

Whats the thing with this: https://ibb.co/pXqcJD4 . I messaged holio, I never encountered this before. Usually companies should just forward the money to the person`s bank account if for example the replacement item is not in stock or they are no longer in production.

Obviously they're requesting the Invoice of the original Item, but what exactly did your SE Involve to get to this stage?

Replacement laptop of lost in transit is now lost in transit again, so I told them i bought this from private seller. They are asking me of the invoice from original seller, which is the original invoice for the first SE. Told them seller is not cooperating and they told me they want to refund the retailer of the invoice. So I do not know how to go about this, its weird because before they just manufacture you a new laptop and have to wait a week or two from china to get shipped. Now they want to refund to the retailer who sold the item and then for me to go and request the refund from them.

Have you checked their terms to see whether they've been amended to obtaining the refund from the retailer, as opposed to shipping another unit (as It was previously the case)?

I could not find anything in regards to this refund procedure .
