It's a topic I've been thinking a lot about lately. I'm actually trying to formulate some ideas of how we might bring this into schools a bit more. I'm not a teacher or anything, but I feel this is an important issue. If you look at the number of self help books that have come out in the past 20 years relating to 'being happy' it seems like we are going wrong somewhere. Supply meets demand, and if there are that many people that are not 'happy', we need to address the issue, and find a way of changing our perspective. I'm looking forward to finding out what people think!

That is rather interesting.
I mean, let's be honest: Your livelihood is very important to your overall life, happiness and everything else. If you can't make a decent living, you can't support yourself or have the things that you want and need. If you have a job that you hate, it will affect your overall happiness on a daily basis, even when you aren't at work.
I think the key is being able to do something that you love for a living. I think it's also important to find other sources of happiness, such as a significant other, friends, hobbies, etc.
