Leading people-> NLP Basics : Creating a rapport 06-02-2013, 07:43 PM

Hi guys! ,
I want to share some basis of NLP, a huge theory to understand human behaviour.
There are lots of things in NLP to be explained, but now we will approach the "rapport".
The rapport is something natural, is what we experience when we think there is a feeling whit a person. All people are attracted by those who are similar to.
So, if we behave as the person we are talking to, we will seem more attracting, and this person will put their trust on us, ready to be lead.
It's simple: we have to mirror their movements and their positions to create the rapport. If he/she cross their legs, cross your legs too, if he/she nods, do the same.
We have to mirror not only the gestures and the body language but also their posture, their breathing rhytm, their speaking tone and speed. Avoid dealing with speeches that can bring differences of opinion.
Enter in his world.
Once you created a rapport the person is ready to be lead, but this will be another tutorial :wink:
