Laptop SE #1
Not too Long ago i tried to SE a Lenovo laptop with just the Serial #, IT came to an end when the rep heavily insisted on me having to send IT in before they would replace, i tried a bunch of excuses and also considered dry ice, i didnt do the latter though.

I want to try and pull the followings off in the future

Lenovo - wrong item, i want to order a cheap laptop and a expensive one, and do the wrong item method. I think this Will have a high success chance.

Alienware - i got a serial with a warranty life left of 300 Days, but i need more knowledge about dell, and the CS in my region.

Razer blade laptop - also have a serial for this 3500$ laptop but also lack knowledge how to pull this off.

I want to try get into some real juicy SE's i got plenty of local region serials and can get most electronics serial numbers, but so far Ive been shut down every SE if i havnt paid for something first, however i have sucessfully se'd many retailers with DNA and Partials for high end headsets and airpod pros, so i have some risk willig capital in my Pockets.

Hit me up if you can help me out, also do you have any experience with insurance companies?

The Item Is too big to box and as such, any Inconsistencies with the package, will be noticed In transit.

Although It's good practice to use a like-for-like/similar wrong Item, It can also be any stock Item that's part of their Inventory.

I'd personally opt for the wrong Item received method.

Glad we agree on that, any insights to SE high end laptops just from the Serial numbers or is IT needed to fabricate stuff?

The serial number must obviously still be under warranty for any chance of success.

It can be done, but I personally don't like It, namely because they'll request It's return and due to the nature of the Item, methods are limited. You can say that your (young) son/nephew was using It and It caught fire. As such, for the health & safety of your family, you Immediately disposed of It.

Yea, i agree. Thats what i tried with Lenovo but they insisted on No return No replacement.

Which ultimately was a huge waste of time.

I can certainly relate to this.

What method are you planning to use?

For the razer and alienware i have No other option than the persuasion and try my luck IT seems, or somehow make Them go first, i might give IT a Half assed try, or wait till Someone comes Up with something Better i can replicate, at the moment i get good results from doing other less SE'd items for householding or other methods like Partials that i again might just get more Partials and take another approach where i actually pay and do the wrong item and get IT refunded.

As we both agreed om earlier the dream of SE"ing a laptop from purely serial # might just be too much fantasyland in the end.

The serial method does work, but It's an arduous task when SEing Items of high value.

You can opt for (obviously) the DNA or alternatively, the wrong Item received method.
