It was funny, because I talked to a friend from Bangladesh today. He said he'd never heard of Kurdistan, so I had to tell him about it. It's funny how little Kurdistan is known about.

To be fair, Kurdistan isn't really a country right? And yes I believe we've been strong allies with the Kurds for a while. I'm sure the administration is weary of more involvement in that region, but we will probably have to tangle with ISIS whether we want to or not.
