Here's a good tutorial for you; don't learn with tutorials. They only show you how to do that one thing. Play with the system and the CLI yourself and figure out shit. This will help you out:

yea nice commands, but im talking about like metasploit etc.
if there were tutorials for that, but this is also handy

But, if you're not familiar with Linux, I think you should start with BackTrack. Because it's Ubuntu.
Debian is slightly harder.

Anyways, start with the default commands, and get used to the terminal and stuff.
After that, you can browse through the internet for tutorials.

But Ubuntu builds on the foundations of Debian's architecture and infrastructure, I don't see why it's harder. Maybe Ubuntu has a more friendly user interface which might make it easier for some.

it wasnt all for metasploit, im also learning linux itself.
however i rather had some constructive feedback from you.

If you're just trying to learn Linux, why would you download such a bloated distro? Get an actually updated distro, and install any tools you want.

For that matter, even if you are going all l337 hax, get an updated distro and install tools you need. I guarantee you, more than half the tools in metasploit you will never use.
