I recently ordered a necklace from a jewellery site below 100g and claimed EB once delivered - the rep said they would check CCTV and get back to me.

This afternoon, I was informed that they checked CCTV and also spoke to their supervisor who confirmed that the item was present in the package.

I am considering next steps and am not too sure how to take this one forwards, any help would be appreciated.

You should ask to see their CCTV footage and proceed from there.

Indeed asking for that proof should put them on the spot, also pointing out the fact that it doesn't mean that it was delivered to you intact. You always have the nuclear option of using a chargeback.

Wonder why jewellery refunds are quite rare.

They haven't responded to neither my email nor follow up email so it's safe to say this SE has failed. I have sent yet another email and will keep this thread up to date with any updates.

Request an escalation on the grounds that they're not addressing your claim.
