FTPing text messages shouldn't be too hard to implement since they are stored in one file in cleartext, but I assume you would want to make more advanced functions.

It would be annoying to do. One could write a program to monitor the DB and only send the changes, otherwise that file gets large fast. Especially if you're like me or my ex wife and never delete your text messages.
