It has a lot of functions and is being active developed so it's worth the price. There are alternatives though, one is released in a month, I forgot the name of the tool but it was said it would've almost as much functionality as Adobe and it's totally free (there is a paid version though)

Given It's become a subscription-based service and the ridiculous monthly fee of 49.99$ for all Adobe CC apps, It Is excessive.
Businesses are fine, they claim the cost on company tax but for the "average" consumer, It's simply not on.

Yeah I agree with most of these responses. The way I had said earlier is that from a university standpoint the price is reasonable if added to the curriculum fees. Therefore a university doesn't waste money in regards to students using vs students buying the product. If buying it for a class it makes sense if you're only in that class for a year and pay the money as part of class tuition. If you're only there and don't actively use the program it'd be a waste for a university to buy it for many students.

Extremely overpriced. One of the main reasons why I crack all their products.
