Well, your advice was correct. After receiving the item, went to chat,  then sent it to amazon next morning. A week later messaged them again, got an email, answered a few questions and got my refund worked like a charm!

I am now considering SEing AMZ for an iPhone 14 Pro 1TB and not sure if it will work or not.

First I thought about EB but then I was thinking that this might suggest that the phone was stolen (even when I‘m not the suspect). So I guess it‘s more likely that the IMEI will be blacklisted or so.

Now I think Wrong Item would be best for me cause in Germany especially in my neighborhood it‘s hard to perform DNA nowadays. I don‘t want to pay up front for the phone and when choosing pay later or by bill, they request OTP.

For the switch product I thought about a book or maybe Batteries or something that‘s lighter but easier to „dose“. Because I could easily put in one more Battery pack if needed. But finding a single book to have the same weight as the phone might not be so easy.

I have a >4 year old account and ordered lots of different things, actual normal consumer behavior. Sometimes I send items back because I don‘t like them or the quality is bad. But I didn‘t actually SE AMZ yet, so no DNA and no Wrong Item or EB.

What do you guys think, what‘s the probability of directly being banned or having my account closed for my first „actual“ SE? Is the probability higher when SEing an iPhone?

I really don‘t have any worries or fears around ethical stuff regarding bug corporates like AMZ but I just like using their services and losing my account would be a pain in the … I guess 😂

Also: What‘s the best Shop to SE an iPhone? Probably AMZ is better than Apple itself right?

The 2nd item should preferably come from the same category of the 1st one. It'd be harder to believe that someone at Amazon erroneously sent you a book instead of an iPhone, as they're probably stored in different parts of the warehouse.
