Interview With Jacob 06-02-2012, 10:50 AM
#1
Hello there Hackcommunity
For the members who are regulars here you would of known that back a couple months ago i was planning on becoming an interviewer well i dint really have the time although i like doing it and could probably squeeze in the time i found it easier just to pass but from time to time i shall be interviewing people who i feel have a high authority over the site and today that's Jacob.
PLEASE NOTE THAT : Any Text in this colour is my comments to the previous answer given from jacob
And Any text that is Bold LIKE THIS is the question i have asked jacob.
How did you find Hackcommunity.?
It's been so long that I can barely remember, however this is how it went. I played a lot of runescape and runescape private servers. I then found a server called "Near Reality". Around February 2011 it was the biggest RSPS, and still is to this day. After being there for about 6 month and gaining a lot of popularity, etc I was banned. I was also a member of the infamous "hack ""forum".net (apologies for the filter bypass) at the time. I didn't really like that hacking forum. It was full of rude remarks, hatred -REP because someone didn't like you and just in general retardedness. This is when I just opened up trusty old Google and typed in exactly "hacking community". Hack Community was the second or third result. I went there and registered. I liked the idea of having the different ranks of Class C - A Hacker. Honestly, I think what wowed me the most was the leech prevention and uniqueness of the forum. Being registered for 48 hours and getting 20 posts to view certain forums. I had never seen anything like that! I found myself posting 20 - 30 posts per day...which was a lot for me! A year later, I am proud to be on the staff team and a well respected member whom each members knows they can come to for help or questions.
okaay so reading over that it seems that your a fan of the old hc is that right . ?
What are your views on the changes of hc (eg. the new themes and the new owner)
Hack Community has changed a lot in the time I have been here. However, Hack Community is become my home on the internet. I love it just as much as I did before. However, we are a larger community now and there is a lot more "bull shit" coming to the forum. If it weren't for my amazing fellow staff then the forum would be shit just like "dark"forums". I will always love Hack Community, no matter how it is. I support 99% of the changes that have been made.
Yes I agree it has changed a lot in the year that I have been here also? But
do you feel that the members who are new now would enjoy the site as it is now apose to Last year with the old admins (WE LOVE YOU EX ADMINS) and all the old content .?
I know a lot of new members or people coming from search engines are most likely just looking for one thing; Hack Community stealer/tutorial. A lot of new members also treat Hack Community like it is a safe haven for black hat activity and that they can get away with doing whatever they want. However, the members that stick around usually love the forum. There are the few that disagree with how the staff run the forum and rage, threat and spam all kinds of crap. Hack Community isn't given the respect it deserves, especially since The 7th Sage is no longer the owner. On top of that, Sage is a legend in the malware world. Believe it or not Emissary Keylogger, The burning phoenix (I think) and many of Sage's other creations are still used to this day! Most people don't know that it was The 7th Sage who created these, though.
Yes indeed that are still used today infact I use his Keylogger V5 I think
So moving on slightly I noticed you said that most of the new members are only here for one thing .?
So do you believe that last year the members were genuine and didn’t intend on leaving soo sonly as the members we find today.
I do believe most of the old members from 2011 were more genuine. They gave Hack Community the respect it deserved. Now the new members come in and treat it like it's a place to get free st00f. If you go through the requests you will see "i n33d th1s!" or "hc stealer?@!?!?!?!!?!?!".
Yeah I know. The worst is when people make a pointless thread begging for a site to be hacked Ehggg.
Okay moving on from all that now. I have spent just over a year at hc and I have to be honest some of the threads that you have made about programming and also the vast majority of new programmes and applications that you have made or in the process of making in VB.net are just awesome we salute you Jacob for your time and effort making all the tutorials and programmes that benefit the Hc members but what I want to know and im sure most of Hackcommunity wants to know is
What were your main ambitions to become a programmer?
I had developed a few scripts for PowerBot (a famous runescape bot) way back in the day, about a year before joining Hack Community. I had a standard familiarization with programming and how it worked. However, I didn't understand object orientation, syntax (very well) or very many other things. I joined Hack Community and saw users like 1234HotMaster, 1llusion, Sage, Coder-San and a few others making these really cool programs. I knew about the .NET framework and always wanted to stay away from it, so I didn't learn that. I looked into C++ and started learning that. As we all know, C++ is a very low level language and very hard to learn. I moved from C++ and decided to start Batch. This isn't a real language, but it was fun and gave me better concept of how programming works. 1234HotMaster then introduced me to Autoit3. I did some research on that and started practicing. I then ran into a user (not on HC) whos Nick was "Comi". He had a HUGE tutorial on autoit3. It took me about 4 hours to get all the way through the tutorial. It was there that I fully grasped programming and started coding more and more. Now, its just a past time and I do it when I'm bored or feel like making something new.
Sounds Awesome , Yes agrees sage , coder san, 1llusion and 1234HotMaster are all awesome guys and always willing to help any one regardless of their experience ,
Okay last question I ask all of my interviewees,
Who Would You Consider To Be Respected Members of the Community?
The most respected members are the ones who treat Hack Community as it deserves to be treated. There is no one in specific that deserves more respect than others. However, if it weren't for The 7th Sage, Coder-San, 1llusion, and Nathan; Hack Community wouldn't be the same. Sage and Coder started HC, Nathan somehow kept Sage from shutting down Hack Community several times, and of course, 1llusion for taking care of Hack Community in this new time.
So that concludes one of my most enjoyable interviews with undoubtedly one of if not the most popular guy on hc
in my eyes jacob is just awesome. Hes an awesome guy with a huge talent for programming and also a great and lengthy moderator We salute you Mr Jacob.!
