Internet speed ridiculously slow.

So, while downloading stuff on firefox, my dl speed is usually about 800 KB/sec
Today it's like so slow, it's about 179 KB/ sec and I'm trying to download my WoW patches > Sad

Is it your ISP? Just put your PC to sleep and check d/l speed on your mobile/tablet. If it's the same then it's shitty ISP for sure. What's new?

I have comcast, I don't think it's the ISP, but they fuck up too sometimes.

I dont like it because when I stay over my mom's friends place, her download is like 30 and her ping is 2.

Mine's being shit too so I rang the ISP and they claim there is an outage in my area that will be resolved by tomorrow night.
