Hi, here's my story:
Ordered Intel CPU from amazon and decided to claim EB on it (precisely stated them the blue intel box was there but CPU itself was missing). I know it was kind of risky due to the fact you can see the item physically, but it has worked few times before already and I do not know if they have CCTV checking each packages.
Anyways the EB got denied and now they sent me an email asking to fill a police report, but it is impossible because:
- I used fake name
- Police here won't even take this into consideration as it is not a theft
- I stated them the CPU was missing but box was there, cannot be stolen any way
What would be my next possible move to save it?
Should I go back to another rep and ask again (or claim DNA with some sort of excuse) or just return the item to them?

Ask why it was denied, what proof they have that the cpu was in the box and if they don’t really answer you just ask for an escalation

They just sent me an email stating: Based on our investigations, we aren't able to provide a replacement or refund for this order at this time.
And asked for a police report. For all the emails they just reply with same thing: send us the police report bla bla bla

I just got their reply to this after asking for 3-4 times: The delivery weight matches and their specialists verified some details, hence cannot refund me. Then keep on sending me the police report. I am thinking to
just sell the item for 10% cheaper and take my loss OR additionally try to box them. Although it would be too heavy to box the whole package?
Or contact some boxer/LIT provider

Also in the meantime I had another refund for a much cheaper item (totally different account and details) and they just emailed me to provide PR.

Remember to be adamant, a cpu should be too light to make a weight difference

Yeah, very light. They probably didn't do any checks just outright lie to me. But still getting copy paste answers lol. I keep telling them police doesn't provide police reports for such matter and they just reply with oh sorry cant do anything about it
