I have a Windows 8 Operating System and I know I installed the Linux onto the USB properly because I can get it to boot on my girlfriends laptop which is also a Windows 8 System. Would anyone know how to trouble shoot this issue?

If it boots from the same USB on your girfriends laptop then have a look at your Boot Order in the bios, set your USB Drive to the higest position.

Yes that has already been checked. I even turned off fast boot mode.

Although, I use Kali as a primary OS (installed on HDD), I think this could be really handy sometimes when I am working on customer's machines.

Really interesting, light and easy to digest and useful.

Thanks for sharing.
