You make a competition for those SL points or whatever they're called. The competition is through all the technical boards (excluding GFX because that's fairly populated).
Each board will have a judge knowledgable in that topic. You can use judges from within the forum or people who don't give a shit about who wins or who loses, up to you really.
The point of the competition is to get as many HQ, original posts in all the technical boards as possible (its not hard to check originality). the person with the most HQ posts or with the most HQ post (up to you) wins the SL points.

The competition will not only promote high quality posts within the currently unpopulated technical boards, but it will also bring in a lot of noobies who just want to learn. SL was originally (or is at least advertised as) a technical/general forum for 'hackers', programmers, artists, and gamers alike. The only problem is the technical aspect of it is dead right now. Theoretically, a competition like this will not only bring up the board population but it could also bring in a lot of new members

Not sure if the person that gave me this suggestion wanted to be named, so I'll leave them anonymous. I was curious if you guys would be interested in a contest like this, and if you are, if you would participate. Interested? Plan on participating if I run this event? The reward could be large sums of SP or upgrades. Hell, maybe even T-shirts or stickers.
