Remove or change the "Daily forum goals" #1
The Daily forum goals is always 100%, Honestly I don't see the utility in showing this....

We could transform the" Daily forum goals" in "Monthly forum goals" maybe it might be more motivational for all the users.

The point is if a see 100% I'm less motivated to do something... it's the base of the motivational techniques.

I believe the staff here adjust it as needed.

Generally with our forum, I figured this went without saying. However, recent discussion has led me to believe otherwise. People are encouraged to read and follow our rules, especially those regarding illegal content. You have been warned - @Oni

Thanks for the announcement.

It's applied according to the board's activity, and adjusted with fluctuation.

There's been countless occasions where we've failed to fulfill the requirements.

I normally tweak it based on averages, so that we can have realistic goals. This past month we've averaged >200 so I'll raise it further.

Yeah I suggested something like this around a year ago and it was said that these goals are updated regularly. It's really just a way to track growth on the forum.

I'll try to tune it to more manageably ambitious numbers. Too low, and it has no effect. Too high, and it can discourage people on a slow day.

I didn't want to make a new thread but the posts goal should be doubled and the thread goal at least quadrupled.

I've doubled the goals, since it's been awhile since we've fell below. I did the math and we need only need an average of ~180 posts per day to hit 1,000,000 on our 10th anniversary. Huge milestone.
