Are you serious? LOL. So if the weather outside is shitty. And I hope that it snows so work/school is cancelled, and it happens.

You consider that a premonition? Because it's not.

A. a premonition isn't subconscious in that sense.

B. A premonition doesn't trigger events.

An example of a premonition would be if you had the feeling you were going to get a phone call, and then the phone rings. You had no reason to believe the phone was going to ring. You didn't make someone pick up the phone at that exact moment. A premonition is not just a wish that comes true. It's the belief thats something will happen despite no reason to believe it will.

You're not following.

A premonition triggers events (In an emotional manner), that something Is going to happen. As a result, that "something" (whatever It may be) Is the "event".

Quote: Premonition Is the ability to see and experience events from the past, present, and future.

Source: http://charmed.wikia.com/wiki/Premonition

In terms of "future" events, It's the "premonition" that's responsible for "triggering" the event In an emotional fashion. The event happens thereafter.

I'm not saying that when you "hope" something happens, It will happen- that's not possible without a premonition. I'm saying that as the result of a "premonition" that triggers your thought process for an event to happen, then It's the "premonition" that's responsible for the outcome, and not your thought process.

If he were to be using crack, he definitely wouldn't be wasting his time quoting other people on forums.

No, I'm not on crack, I've never tried It and never will. I live a very healthy lifestyle. Thanks for asking though.

As for the quote, I'm quoting the "definition" (that's relative to our discussion being future events) and not the "TV show". The definition, so happens to be based on the distinctness of the meaning Itself- being the factuality of the term premonition.

Except what that TV show considers the definition is not the actual definition. Show me a reputable dictionary like merriam-websters with that definition. I doubt you'll find it. Because by definition premonitions do not trigger events.

As requested:

Quote:a feeling or belief that something is going to happen

And conforming with my previous post:

"Future events" = "something Is going to happen".

I've already explained It In a most clear, legible and comprehesable manner. I shall not reiterate.

Given you now have a good understanding of the term "premonition", any further questions you may have, shall be dealt with using the Private Message system. This will ensure this thread continues to remain on-topic.

Thank you.

Ya no shit sherlock. I'm talking about the part where you claim premonitions trigger the events to happen or even that him wishing something would happen - is a premonition.

No. it's a coincidence that what he wanted to happen, actually happened. reinforced by selection bias.

You either didn't read my previous post, or simply didn't comprehend It's contents. Either way, sort yourself out and get a grasp on what I've documented.
