What's the sickest you've been and what did you have? I had bronchitis and it cleared up today.

The worse things I've had were Dengue Fever and a respiratory bug that lasted a week. Worst thing that happened with Dengue Fever, was I passed out in the bathroom. Dengue Fever is known for causing severe fatigue and pain everywhere. Fortunately that's the worst I've had.

When you had dengue fever, was It the result of going on vacation to the tropics? I could be wrong, but from what I know It can only be caught In certain countries. Sounds like your Illness was a shocking experience.

I lived in Brazil 4 years. Apparently there's different types of Dengue and if you get it again it can be deadly. I know I had to stay in the hospital a couple days on IV (dehydrated, etc). I basically felt the same about Dengue. I probably had it 2-3 days before I realized (by passing out) I was actually ill. I also had the flu once, but I don't think it was as severe.

My goodness, I had no Idea of the different types and that It can be life-threatening the second time around.

When I was young, I wasnt vaccinated for chicken pox. I got it bad, had it for 3 days and I was so sick I could not move. Other than that, I wasnt sick, but I had all four of my wisdom teeth pulled and was in severe pain for 3 days. The vicoden helped, but as soon as it wore off, holy shit, the worst pain you can imagine.

Ok, wut. There's a vaccination for that? I have a permanent fucking scar on my forehead from chicken pox. Everyone here gets it when they're younger. My Dad didn't when he was little, so when he caught it as an adult, it's much more severe.

You are correct. but my parents chose to let me get it to build an antibody for it instead.

I'm basically sick 24/7. Or at least that's what it feels like.

I once felt so bad that I decided to drive myself to the hospital. I didn't make it out the door. Passed out for a few and woke back up feeling a little better.

On top of the MAJOR respiratory problems I had (when I didn't have meds for it), I also had a very bad stomach virus plus something else that made me have outrageous fevers. God that shit sucked.
