with 10+ floors, highrise buildings, condominiums, you most than likely get a lot of Amazon deliveries, which in most than likely, get all tossed on the floor in the mailroom.
Other delivery companies often just assume it's okay to leave packages wherever packages lays.

When SE'ing, well don't do more than 2-3x the same company IMO. But if could definitely jig your address by leaving the unit number out the address.
Instead of 999-123 Street DNA, you can just write up 123 Street DNA - The courrier will most likely just dropped the box wherever the amazon / left packages are at... increasing your chance of hitting a DNA successfully by at least... 100%...

No unit, fake name, no signature, a picture of a box surrounded by 10-20 amazon packages... Wonder what the company your SE'ing will pull out to decline your DNA claim...
There's no way someone took your package, no way. No way. It's impossible. *sarcasm*

Simple thoughts.

Hotels alternatively, are another great method. You can run into some occasional issues with claiming DNA with a hotel clerk who received the package, but in my experience, it was very easy to convince chat support that the box was never delivered to me, therefore it's gone and a refund is required.

I've used this with addresses that aren't apartments, and have had success. "Unit Right/Left" or something of that nature added to a townhouse or address that isn't an apartment at all. At least from what I can tell, this has allowed me to reuse addresses numerous times, changing up the jigged information to create a "new" address.
This has worked in an apartment building I have used in the past, as well.

My only concern would be if you ended up having to pick them up from the office/property manager, and they became aware that something out of the ordinary was going on - you picking up packages with a fake name and/or no apartment number consistently, or if you received carrier investigations claiming DNA and the office was the one spoken to about it, etc.

As well, just because a package is photographed sitting in the open/amongst a bunch of other packages/not signed for, doesn't mean a company can't and won't deny your DNA request - as I'm sure you're aware. You'll want to verify what their liability and policies are, because there are many that do not care if someone else took your package/if it was obvious it could've been stolen - they don't accept liability for this, and it makes no difference to them.

Lol.

You've made some very valid points. When It's a large apartment complex and yours Is located (for example) on the 20th floor with an array of others, many drivers can't be bothered travelling through the building to locate the apartment Itself, hence dump the package In the hallway of that floor or somewhere nearby. I continue to witness It quite often.

The drop I use literally has them ''secured'' mail box where delivery drivers are supposed to drop the packages in and then a PIN is sent to the tenant to go pick it up - They've been out-of-service for 3 months now lol... they drop all the packages in the main lobby that is unsupervised - unlocked to everybody (no FOB key required where they leave packages, anyone could walk in.) and the funniest one... No cameras in the mail room.

Hilarious. Perfect DNA material.
Althought, have to chill, I don't want the addy to blacklist.

Having some experience in this area i can confirm that often if you are not a resident of a particular building or least with the resident, reception / security will not allow you to go past the lobby meaning drivers often have no choice but to leave the package there with the mail boxes or the receptionist / security guy.

Not every apartment complex has a reception area, mailroom or security.
