To make IRC more widely used, why not have a part of the site that displays the last couple of lines (updates every 15 minutes?) from the sinisterly IRC? Could also motivate more people to use the IRC.

Or even better, make it a realtime log..pretty easy to do.

Or, you can write something cool...maybe something that interacts with the conversation as long as a user is viewing

I like this idea. Although I think it would be better if it were to be realtime so people who read it could catch up to what people in the IRC are talking.
