Hi guys,

I tried to open hack community the other day on tor, and it wouldn't let me get in (possibly cdn blocked tor nodes).
anyhow so that raised the question, is it possible somehow, to open hc through tor?

HC blocks well known proxy and VPN servers to avoid frauds and filter clean IPS. I would assume you have to go for a private VPN solution that costs money.

I contacted TOR and asked for all the exit nodes connecting to my server.
I setup my own 'bad network' to avoid trolls/spammers.

I don't get it why you have to connect with TOR to HC.
Its not like HC is blocked in country's.

I sometimes connect through my school wifi and some students have been jnown to sniff packets through wireshark and the like and blackmail ppl if they find anyone watching stuff they shouldnt be watching .... and the iT dep do track what people see, so I think its violates our privacy and I cant ask them to stop.
So I was just thinking weather its possible because I trust TOR more than most vpn providers

A VPN would be fine for this application. It encrypts traffic between you and the server making sniffing your traffic impossible whether that is sysadmins or students
