HOW TO MAKE A SKYPE BOT!
This is to be made in C#/Visual Studio (Any version)
What you will need;
Skype4COM.dll // http://www.dllme.com/dll/download/11063/Skype4COM.dll //
Visual Studio (Any version) // http://lmgtfy.com/?q=Visual+Studio+2013 //
Brain // http://lmgtfy.com/?q=BR41N+4+S41L //
Okay, one you've got your Skype4COM.dll downloaded you should place it on your desktop or where ever you want it, for me I'm gonna have it on the desktop.
One you're on your VS goto "References" in the Solution Explorer.

Rightclick => Add reference => Browse => Browse (Bottom right) => Click Skype4COM.dll => Add => Click the checkbox => "Ok"
Now we need to be able to access the library. So goto your main form code (Rightclick (Formname).cs then "View Code"
Goto the top where you have all the "using" statements and add "using SKYPE4COMlib;"
Now we want to create some global variables and objects, in your code add;
Code:
// Variables and Objects
Skype skype = new Skype();
bool isConnected = false;above "public (formname)();"
Now you want to add a button which will connect the bot to skype, so in the form designer just drag a button in there and set the properties to your liking.
Then you want to add a label and set the name (not the text, the name of the label) to "statusLabel" or you can just refactor the code to your labels name...
You want to double click it so it will make the buttons code stub then paste the following into it;
Code:
// Starting the bot
try
{
this.skype.Attach(5, true);
MessageBox.Show("Skaiper Connected");
}
catch (Exception ex)
{
MessageBox.Show("Failed to connect, is skype running? ERROR:" + ex.Message, "Error");
if (MessageBox.Show("Do you want to start skype?", "Error", MessageBoxButtons.YesNo, MessageBoxIcon.Error) == DialogResult.Yes)
{
skype.Client.Start(false, false);
}
else
{
//do nothing...
}
}
isConnected = true;
//Label stuff
if (!isConnected)
{
statusLabel.Text = "Status: Not Connected";
}
else
{
statusLabel.Text = "Status: Connected";
}So this will connect the bot and if it doesn't, it'll throw an error in a textbox.
Bam, you've connected your bot. If you want a part two to it showing you what you can do like automatically changing your mood, changing your status and stuff like that just post it in the comments ^^
Kind Regards,
