That exploit is written in ruby and meant for windows 2000 Windows Media Sharing Server. WMS isn't enabled by default on win7 so YMMV using ms10_025_wmss_connect_funnel against a win7 machine. In fact, you'd be hard pressed to get a session started on an up-to-date SP1 win7 machine unless you send a remote payload or use a browser attack etc. Win7 is pretty corked up from the outside. Prior to SP1 there were a few exploits but now you need to use another method....my fav is website cloning and dns redirects to get my payload ran....then the reverse_tcp meterpreter session is opened automatically.

this hack works if the victim goes on
the site. but is there anyway in win7 without making the victim go to your clone site? cuz that's what I've been working on and I've literally tried every exploit and still nothing... any custom exploits out there? if so please pm me and good tut btw. simple and nub friendly
