I keep getting asked to return the damaged product even though It is "damaged from acid" or "I had to throw it away" etc. Whats the best way to get around this?

Make an excuse, like the courier does not accept the item. Another way is to box them.

Some companies like Corsair for instance will always demand the product back and wont continue with the RMA process unless you return it, this can still be exploitable.

I'm stuck in this exact situation. I'm pretty new but managed to find a set of RAM on Ebay with all the serials visible. I contacted corsair and said it was faulty etc, was asked to provide pictures of the item and a receipt and after all that they finally accepted my RMA request. I'm not quite sure what I was expecting but it wasn't that. Any tips on how to get around it?

You can always say you already shipped the item out and wait a few weeks. Also tell them you used your own shipper as the shipper with the return label they sent you was unavailable for the day and you went on vacation that same day.
