Did you enjoy the gadgets on windows 7 like i did? How you could put them on your desktop? It's a shame they aren't in windows 8, oh wait. They are. Simply download the program with the link above and when you finish the install right click on your desktop and click gadgets. Same as Windows 7! This also includes a lot more gadgets thanks windows 7. I have tested this and it is NOT a virus.

Wasn't gadgets removed from Windows because they made your PC easier to attack or something? I know there are a few other hundred apps that will give you the same thing, just safer and it will fit better with a Modern UI...

I don't know about the safety, but it did for sure slow down your PC.

Yea some of them are not trusted but not all of them and they also effect the speed of start up of pC.
