I am not guaranteeing that this will work for everyone but it DOES work for me at my college!

I'm not 100% sure if this works for getting around paying for Internet (like at McDonalds), but this does work for needing to know a password for school Internet (I.E. needing a username to use the Internet)

I personally use google chrome, so this should be easy if you do too. If you use another we browser, this should be fairly similar and not far off!

First, you must be connected to the wireless internet that you are trying to gain access to without using a password.

1. Click on wrench settings
2. Go to settings
3. Go to advanced settings
4. Under Network go to Change Proxy settings...
5. Click LAN settings
6. Check the use a proxy server for your LAN box
7. Click OK
8. Exit that window and enjoy your free Internet

Let me know if this helps anyone!

Note* As most school computers do not allow you to change their browser settings, this might only work on your laptop (at least it does for me!)

If this doesn't work for you, maybe my school's security just sucks!
