How to SE some computer parts on Amazon 11-11-2018, 07:11 AM

Hello. I've been a long time lurker of this forum and learned a lot about how to best set myself up for success when SEing Amazon. Just gonna provide some tips on how to SE some computer parts as a token of my appreciation. I shall post proof pics once I get that figured out.
It is always extremely helpful to first and foremost be a prime member before even attempting to SE anything. Β MAKE SURE that anything you are trying to SE is sold by Amazon or Amazon warehouse.
Power Supply - The best method to use here from experience is saying that the power supply Β "Leaked" By which I mean that when your story when talking to a amazon representative is that when you opened up the power supply box , you felt something wet/slimy.Also be sure to note that the amazon packaging was completely fine/perfect condition. This is when you sell the them that you thought it was battery acid and immediately disposed of it. It helps tremendously to build a parental figure , say your a parent of two and you were extremely worried that this could have taken a turn for the worst etc. Main part is SELL YOUR STORY. If you executed this properly and have some luck on your side they will offer you a replacement or a refund without having to send the item back. If they refuse to do either unless you send the item back , abort and just try again. It took me two representatives to successfully SE a Corsair RM1000x PSU. The first one would not allow me either until I had agreed to send it back , the second was more sympathetic and got her supervisor to do the deed of refunding me.
Processor - The good ol switcheroo does wonders here. I for example SE'd an i7 8086k by replacing the processor with a pentium 4. If you want to be extra safe , replace the 8086k with a processor that amazon stocks. The reason for the return is important however , the reason should be that THE PROCESSOR DOES NOT WORK. If you are lucky , the return should go unnoticed by whoever handles processing returns. Its been several months since I've done the 8086k SE and nothing has come up as of yet.
Liquid Cooler/AIO - This one is just like the power supply. Just say it leaked and tell them that the coolant is acidic/corrosive to humans. Just set yourself up as a concerned parent. Say you disposed of the item out of safety of your children. Literally the same excuse you would give for the power supply you could just use here. Abort and retry if they do not give you a refund/replacement without a return.
NVME SSDs/DDR4 Ram- The method I used here was wrong item received. I used the broken glass trick. Tell amazon that you opened the envelope expecting to receive your SSD/RAM and that instead you got a nice gash on your finger. Sell to the employee how much "pain" you went through to get them to sympathize. From my experience from the two times I've used this method , they would offer me a refund straightaway. If you get a representative that asks you to ship back the broken glass , tell them that you contacted UPS/USPS etc and they told you they would not accept the package with broken glass in it.
Remember ladies and gentlemen , you have to be able to think on the fly. The greatest elements that compose a successful SE is consistency and adaptability. Keep the story consistent when they transfer you and be able to make adjustments as needed to help get your story across to the employees , like adding in extra details.
