Is the carrier accepting a signature on delivery?

Are you trying to SE (as in try to get without any initial payment) or refund?
Unfortunately, I have to retire from SE.

Either, i guess refunding the item would probably be a more simple process though, even though i'm not sure how to go about doing this. I have a few months to plan though.

I'm not entirely sure. The majority of companies i have come across don't specify which courier they use.

Any big company that has a high chance of being successful.

You can always perform a practice run with a very cheap Item (or perhaps one that you do In fact need), and the carrier will be Identified on delivery.

You can send an email asking them, they will probably be happy to reply.

I've heard that samsung and/or curry's doesn't respond to Paypal disputes, but £1000 is too much to risk it considering some member of this board reported that samsung auto-declines the disputes.
I would assume it is much safer to do it manually.

In terms of Samsung, I've read mixed reports.

Their terms & conditions are very detailed, so I'm still In the process of sifting through It.

You could always buy a very cheap broken one off eBay, and a new one, and swap them out, including the serial number stickers, and ask for a refund claiming it arrived damaged.

Not free but you'll get maybe a nice 75-90% discount
