How to: Merchant in Fly For Fun: "Owning the server"

Introduction:
Well since there is a new server coming out within the week, I thought I may as well give a guide on a nice clean way to make money and merchant your way into the new server so that you can 'own the server'.
There are many ways you could go about being a merchant,
For one you could buy and resell. This is one of the main things many people associate with merchant life. But with out people that are going to farm where is all the equips going to come from?
And this is the answer.

Read carefully as this could be your way to fortune.



Step One: The hard and boring part.
*Now I have already said that this is mainly for the new server, so I will reference to that point a lot. If you come from a different server and already have a good amount of funding skip this step.*

Okay as the beginning to every new server, is a beginning to a new economy. In this new cluster people will not have awesome farming gear where you can take down mobs within seconds, this is a new birth to new things. The economy will be mainly based upon trading with Gpotatos and items for items. This is normal and this is also a good thing.

Well the first step is to reach 80, but along the way I recommend stopping off at the 45 station and being farming for some level 45 greens in darkon. Once you start over leveling, try de-leveling a couple of times. *I know you may think this is stupid, but trust me this is better in the long run!* This is what people call the 'boring part' or in some cases the 'fun part' to merchanting, after all in comes down to personal choice. If you are at 45 and find that the class you have chosen isn't a great farming character but this is the character you would really like to make 'pro', make a new account and being with a new character.

I suggest a few classes that are good farmers and that are good levelers. These are:

• Bow Jesters
  
• Elementors
  
• BillPosters
  
• Blades * * *!
  
• Rangers
  

The reason for the ' * * * ' is not that they are the best farmers, but in fact that they are probably the worst if ill equipped. Make a level 60 blade and keep it there until you can fund it with all your might.

But it all comes down to personal choice, I suggest going with a Bow jester or an Elementor.

Sum up:
Aim to reach to 80 and then hunt wilds, but stop off along the way and farm for some easy items.


Step Two: Selling and Trading.
Okay so once you have all the necessary items for your class and your future classes, stock up on some extra items like, if you find a flury hat and you're planing on making an rm save it for later. Once you have a few items, go into town and make an afk shop whilst shouting, an example of this could be:

That is not what you have to exactly put in your shop, but its just an example of what things to put in there to gain extra cash.

Now that is the selling part done. Even if it isn't all that direct and how and what to do. You need to learn experiment with what things should go where and how much it should sell for. Make the economy what you want it to be, split it up, open four different clients with all shops on them. Then you will slowly help develop the economy in your own way, as every little bit counts. *Tip* Try to keep the prices on gpotato's and every item low. So that the economy isn't always on the fritz.

Trading; So you want to find someone that is willing to trade items for items gpotato's for items etc.. It isn't hard to work out, trade the extra items you don't need for items you do need. This will help build your gear up a lot!

Step Three: What to invest in?
Now once the server has developed or you have developed and you have a lot of money to invest in and ultimately merchant in something, this is where you are on top, even if someone has done this 100 times before you, this is where you can make a lot of money. So for example you see pet feed for 50/1 buy all of it and sell for 55/1 once you have built more money up try doing this with other items and eventually work your way up to Sprotects, Xprotects, Gprotects and Aprotects. This is where you can make millions at a time. Again for example just say if you see Sprotects for 15mil, buy ALL of them and resell for 17mil. Even though this is considered economy-terrorism, and it is a little selfish, does it matter? you are making a two million profit from every Sprotect sold.

Just say you buy 198 that is two stacks of 99, and resell at 17million.
That is a 396 million profit, imagine if you keep doing this? If you ask me this is easy money.

Step Three: Some other 'Money Makers'

Well some other ways that you could make money is events and collecting. Hands down if you waited for events and blew 90% of your money on the events, and resold at a 150% increase this will allow you to make millions maybe even potentially billions and billions. *I have once made a 140billion profit from an event* But this totally depends on the event and if it is at the right time.

Collecting, its simple make characters get collectors go afk. ~ Simple eh?

If you do at least 5 whilst you're sleeping for 8 hours, and also leave them on whilst you go out or even play you will bound to get x2 lightning pieces 7% every day, that is if you are willing to do this. I know I am not. So I just leave one on when I am in real need 24/7 ;].



So all in all if you have read this guide carefully, you would have a nice idea of how to merchant at a amature level, but hey that is still good right? I think so. On a side note, just learn to create your own merchant style and develop these ideas forth, after all this is just a brief outline on how to merchant.
