I used the partial method primarily, however I would't suggest using that method anymore.

Why might that be?

Actually, because I used to think that buying i.e. 10 items (clothes) and then saying that 3 are missing is a good idea. But if they would check the weight they could see that it would match and that they properly dispatched the package. Only thing I could say then is that the items were already missing before, but they can simply disprove that by putting all 10 items on a scale. The method did work, but it seems less tight now.

Well, that's completely different to the DNA- In this case, you're using the partial method.

As with the missing Item method, the Item(s) need to be light enough to not register a weight on consignment. As such, they cannot verify whether the Items were enclosed.
