Now I just have to hope that for 200-300 euros they don't ask me for a police report...
PR requests are fairly rare, for that amount you might be asked to sign an affavadit at most.
Amazon Is known to request a PR for goods of that value or less.
I've been asked to file one for a 50$ Item. My point Is, It can happen for products of just about any value.
Fortunately none of these orders will be placed on Amazon, so I hope I can escape these police report requests

It was ridiculous to say the least.
The cost of manpower to thoroughly Investigate the claim, would've outweighed the cost of the Item.

Did you hear about some of the largest retail chains in the USA announce that they prefer customers to keep products below a certain value instead of returning them?
This is due to exactly what you said, the manpower and cost of handling and processing low value goods.

I read on another thread that it has already happened to you that a deliveryman records conversations during their delivery without your knowledge. How often has this happened to you? Because I have to tell you that if it happens more often than I thought it would, it could compromise my DNA.

I can't name specifics, but what I can say Is that there's no cause for concern.
It doesn't happen often at all.
