How easy would it be to PEB/EB a Moschino bag from ASOS UK? 09-14-2020, 06:44 PM

Hey all, was just hoping to get some answers. I'm not too sure how easy ASOS is, I've heard they're really strict on DNAs and no way to do FTID as they give you a code to scan when you drop the parcel off at a post office. I don't really want to have to bother with a DNA so I guess PEB/EB is my next best bet unless there is another method that I haven't thought of. The Moschino bag isn't a massive handbag, it's just a small one. However I'm a little concerned about the weight, it may be a bit too heavy to claim it wasn't in there. I can link the product if anyone would like to see it. Should I try and attempt it? Or go with something more lighter like a watch. Thanks for all your input.

ASOS have gotten much stricter with claims since they got rinsed with them. My last experience with them for an item of clothing using the PEB method was denied on their end, since they cross checked the weight of the item with the carrier. However the SE was still successful as I initiated a dispute with them on Paypal and luckily they did not respond, hence why I was successful.

I would suggest you go with a smaller / lighter item. Even if it's not exactly what you want. Then sell that item and use the money to get what you actually want.

Yeah, that's what I was concerned about. If they deny my claim, it's not like I can return it either. Which sucks because I don't really like the bag, I only want it to sell it.

I have no idea, is it alright if I provide a link to the item?

The thing is, I was actually looking to sell this bag haha. But yeah I'll probably have to go with something else.

If ur claim fails, you will probably still be able to return it. Simply make an excuse. For example "Sorry about the confusion. My brother took his bag without informing me since he was the one that got the parcel". I have done so before with retailers and have never had any issue. Make sure to sound apologetic and sorry for your dumb mistake.

In terms of the partial/missing Item method, It's Imperative to Identify the weight of the Item.
Amazon usually have It In the product description, so see whether they sell It and grab the weight from there.

I couldn't find the exact same one, however I looked around for one that was on ASOS and also Amazon, and it was 1.5 pounds. Basically way too heavy to even bother with a PEB lol.

Yes, 680 grams Is too heavy for the partial/missing Item method.
What type of packaging does the bag come In?

I looked around on YouTube, and I assume it comes in the ordinary ASOS plastic bag, and then inside it is the bag with it's dust bag.
