I'm not sure about the header. I've changed the logo and everything.

while you was all asleep I made few changes.


+Transparent background had to be moved as it was not positioned properly.
+ As said above I have to do it with the form.
- Had to remove the sign up button from the re-worked position because it was buggy, we will rework that soon.
+added a header a,as above you can see that it was white, change it to 1d1d1d; Suits it beter in my opinion.
+Added a search bar
+added links/button
+reworked the logo and positioned in the header
+fixed some buys involving the percentage of the background to decrease which led to leaving white patches at the top and bottom of the page. All fixed now though.

I think that's all for now.

Updates on the most recent screen shot.

"Taged" header logo is cut off, should be resized
content in ribbon should be centered better
login box should be centered both horizontally and vertically
dark grey ribbon on top should have same alpha as login box
make sure background is REALLY compressed and has different versions for different monitor sizes
combine username and password boxes. (like tumblr.com... infact.. look at the login page for tumblr.com for some inspiration even their search)
