How could i download a video off of a website and then refund it, their refund policy for digital content is that if you download it youre not eligible for a refund, does anyone know of anything that can help me download it without the website knowing, so i can go back and refund it, i kind of dont want to spend $1,000 for bjj videos.

I think a vpn and screen recording will do the job ,but the quality gonna be ghetto and itll be somewhere around 20 hours of recording.

There are many ways depending of how it's managed in the backend.

The difference between a download and a stream is basically that when you download you are accesing a file in a file server, a stream can be a file in the backend but it's transmitted using a different server application that can transmit different media files depending on the internal configuration or the speed between the network, also can be another protocol not Tcp/ip that is most widely used for networking, websites, etc, can be Udp that can be faster but without error checking that was usually used for streaming.

There are many apps that can download the media stream, Instead of capturing it from the screen

For Android I use ADM and TubeMate apps

For PC I use JDownloader

Are not exactly to catch all the streems but to be free are good enough, I saw some very robust paid apps, but I didn't tried.

It may not be possible to be honest, Short of gaining entry to their database. Does the website state that it's COMPLETED downloads, or as soon as you download? Do they offer paypal payment? Is it possible to watch stream the video and be eligible for a refund? It may be possible to use screen recording software.

The server knows you have downloaded it because you sent a request for the file download which would be easy to log and store in a database.
