Mybb is free, but with a domain and hosting for free, good luck getting anything worth something. And no one will join for the fact that you run on a free host, not even dedicated enough to pitch in a couple cents for your site.

You need a free or paid web hosting.(I suggest 000webhost google it)
Then go to http://www.mybb.com/downloads and download the thing at your right.
Then you need FileZilla. Ant then using filezilla you need to upload the foolder "Upload" in the "public_html".
^Infinity Is fail coz if it's with domain or without domain doesn't matter if admins are not flamming skids.
There is a video on youtube that will get you detailed help for installing MyBB on your hosting .

Of course you need free or paid hosting to get a site up, isn't that common sense? I'm glad you figured that out, but now i'll attack you for giving him falsified ideas about how to run a successful site. If you can't even afford hosting for your site, what does that tell your members? That you're in it to build a great forum using a free host that probably doesn't even have DoS protection? Good plan you have there. Just so you know, reputation doesn't have any relation to your IQ, so stop trying to act smarter than you really are, and at least consider why others say what they do.

Good domain without paying... Simple answer: Not possible, you'll never get hardly any SEO for the traffic you want on your forum through a free 000Webhost domain. Go bang your head against a wall DeffoN because I think you might have a few loose brain cells if you haven't figured that part out yet.

Haven't had a good day, and I don't need someone who obviously knows absolutely nothing about a webmaster's job to tell me that i'm wrong when i've probably been doing it for at least 10 more years than you have.

lol I think you fail because this makes absolutely no sense at all. With or without a domain? Well lets see, without a domain, what good would hosting be? Whether there's any admins at all for that matter, regardless of how bad they do their job, they can't because there is no site without a domain.

Keep digging yourself a hole, because I promise you that you won't win with me, go learn some more before pointing the finger at me and telling me that i'm wrong. Then go ask a few members that have a logical state of mind, and they would all agree with my first post in this thread about administrators not even having money for good hosting or domains. If you want proof, I can give you a link to a very unsuccessful forum (actually 2 or 3 of them) for the reason that they ran on free hosting and a free domain.

Now ask yourself, where's your proof?
