Well the first thing i want to tell u is that for this tut u need to use an older version of firefox...Firefox 4x beta is not supported yet...

The tut has been tried on version 3.6.12

Also u need to have another browser installed on ur pc...

Next u need to install Winpcap...search it on google...



Then open ur firefox browser...and search for firesheep addon...

Install the addon and restart firefox...

Now open the other browser, open facebook, go offline on chat and view the profile of some other person on facebook...

Switch on to firefox and open the 'View' menu...then click on 'sidebar' and select 'Firesheep'...

A sidebar opens up with a button saying "Start Capturing"...

What r u waiting for...Click it...

Now refresh the facebook page on the other browser...

Switch back to firefox again...

You will notice the account has been captured...If u wish u can try it with other facebook accounts too...



Now just click on the account names...and u will be able to view their accounts as well get access to their private info and data...



Also this tut can be tried upon other accounts such as twitter, flickr, etc.

But remember this tut is only for educational purposes...Please do not try it for doing harm to people....

The Backend exited with error 1 is a known error. Just the the creator wasn't able to get rid of this before the release.

This message happens when you stop capturing, You can just ignore it. Although, you dont need to stop capturing to see the results as it should be constantly updated. Try ARP poisoning a friend and then fireup firesheep, im sure this would work.

Correct me if im wrong tho.
