Home pickup FTID? #1
Hey guys, I need help.
I am SEing a few laptops, and most, if not all, require home pickup.
For the first laptop, they use DHL (I'm from Italy). DHL sent me a label thru email, so if I edit it, and put some weights into it and slap the label onto the package, that shouldnt be a problem should It?
I tried saying I cannot drop It off, I got told that they are responsbile for Lost/any problems with the package only via home pickup and thats why they only do this.
What would be the smarter plan of action?
I'm really looking forward to those, and despite the roadblock,I'm confident I can pursue my SE.
My idea was to Just prepare the package and hand It over with ftid label, would that work? I assume so, they sent me the label so I think they want me to put it

Yes that would work. The driver won't know. It will be the same thing as you dropping it off. If the driver does asks questions, which he shouldn't, simply says that was the label you was provided with.

I've had pickups using ftid before on numerous of occasions, all successful with driver asking no questions.

The courier drivers mission is simply scanning the barcode and saying goodbye.

Time will tell when he posts an update. We will see who is right.

What happens when It's weighed at the depot and It doesn't match the weight on the modified label?

I been wondering about this actually.
If a house is for-rent and has a sign in front of it. will the delivery-man get suspicious? (US if that matters)

also taking a package off the front door of a for-rent house lol, guessing u gotta survey the area first for cameras.

Pretty simple - It's your house and you're Intending to lease It, hence It explains the sign.
