Help with apple watch EB

When ordering online from places like Target or Walmart, do they make you send the box back with everything else but the watch head?
Do you do it through the mail or in store?
Do they check ID or anything like that?
Do does the EB work when buying direct from apple?

Recommend apple directly since it’s under the weight limit for eb

In my experience, Target doesn't request It.

Both are equally effective.

Some stores do with In-store returns.

Is it safe to try and EB the steel ones or should I stick with aluminum?

Personally I just stuck with aluminum, but theoretically there isn’t a crazy difference in weight, so should still be doable. Because of price, pr might be asked for though, if you aren’t comfortable with that.

me and my friend have done airpods pro from apple, both the watch and airpods weigh very little. on both occasions apple has offered refund, but on the most recent a pr was required

The EB/missing Item method for AirPods Pro and Apple Watches has a very high success rate against Amazon.
